Plankeye (also spelled PlankEye and Plank Eye)1 was an American Christian rock band that formed in 1991 in Orange County, California. The band's name is derived from Matthew 7:3 in the New Testament:"Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?"
