breakdown:  The breakdown is just a combination of previously played parts.  
It starts with the pre-verse then transitions to a strummed-out A major barre chord
(or you can play it as an octave

The rest of it is just the first half of the chorus repeated with harmonics and string noise.  
To get this sound, drag your finger down the strings picking up the 
harmonics and hitting the D,G,B, and E strings while muting with your picking hand.
